Johnson has written the most complete and detailed treatise of all the books in this bibliography. One helpful feature of the book is his outline of the “four camps” of BAM: Tentmaking, Marketplace Ministries, Enterprise Development and Business as Mission. These distinctions help clarify the approach to business and ministry. Basic beliefs are also outlined by Johnson as fundamental truths: we are Trinitarian followers of Jesus Christ who believe that the Bible is God’s holy word, that the gospel is to be lived 24/7 in every aspect of life including business, work was ordained by God and that businesses are to be managed by biblical principles consistent with the gospel.
